Why would there be braille on a barrel tho? Not like someone blind is going to shoot or carry let alone build a gun lol.

ok thats what i was thinking too my old glock dont have it
Its a "dot matrix" it is on there for quality control I think. My gen 3 17 has them also. Kinda like a serial number I believe.

The first pic at the top has numbers written in the same "dot matrix" script...

I've never seen that on any of my guns and I've got Glocks built as recently as 2009, so it's something pretty new. Or it's a 9mm thing.
My 19 has similar markings. Mine made in Austria about a year old. My friends, made in USA, and recently purchased, has similar markings. His is on the left, mine on the right.
Do you suppose this is some kind of Glock lot identification from the process of making the barrel with polygonal rifleing?
