M1 Garand and Carbine Stock Reconditioning

Thought I'd share this video I made showing the results of some TLC on some of my Garand and M1 Carbine, nothing more complicated than boiled lindseed oil, elbow grease, patience and some finishing wax.

I'm pretty pleased with the results! What do you think?

They all look great. I like the Collector Grade & The 1941 mix. The 1941 has such a nice glow.

How is the availability from CMP? Has it tightened up? I've been saving for an M1 for awhile.

Great job Thanks for the post.
CMP still has them, but whenever they put nicer ones up they go in a few days.
Kind of figured that might be the case. I still have to join a sanctioned gun club anyway. Only one in my area.

Thanks for the info, and once again, nice work. Gotta love the smell of linseed oil & M1's
Very nice looking
Re. smell of lindseed, oh, yes. I know what you mean.
I used Lindseed oil on my Philly derringer when I rebuilt it…
Looks great!!!
