Little use for 380 in recent months.

My 380,s are getting little to no carry time for the last few months or so.I have pretty much evolved into carrying 9mm at minimum.over the last year I have acquired several sub\micro compact 9mm,s and it seems they keep finding a way to make them smaller.so for me,for a minimum increase in size and to have at least equal or often more capacity in 9mm makes sense.it's pretty much as easy to run out of the house with 9mm as long as I'm not using a belt slide holster.I conceal,so generally speaking, there is a bit more printing and weight, but I care less about printing as time goes by.having said that,I like my 380,s and understand why they are so popular with many.

My Glock 42 is so easy to shoot. I’m happy having less weight on the belt. I like having choices.

I’ve felt the urge of a true pocket gun. My Sig 938 and Glock 43 are too big and heavy in my opinion for the clothes I wear.

I was thinking of a Ruger LCP II.

Going from .45ACP and .357Sig down to 9mm was an adjustment of comfort and thought. Could be showing my age.

LCP worked for the 72 year old guy in the Miami Internet Cafe:

I CCW both an LCP and Glock 42. The Glock is infinitely better at the range, but the LCP fits right in my front pocket easily.

I have owned 3 LCPII's. Traded one to my BIL for a Sterling .22 stainless. Then Traded the next one to my sister (mine was $174 but was the Muddygirl camo) for her brand new black one. I took that one out 2 weeks ago and it jammed twice on one mag. I did notice my BIL cleaned it well. Just zero lube. I need to see what is wrong and test it. I like keeping it behind my wallet in my front cargo pants.

LCP II comes in an 11-round 22 package. Nice little shooter.

Similar here; most days a g43 and lcp. Occasionally (most often on saturdays if I’m not going anywhere) I’ll carry only the lcp.

I carried my lcp2 often, but with the p365 being so small. My lcp2 sees little action also.

I carry a P98DC OWB when I cut grass. Damn! That thing is full of clippings.

I saw 58.0¢ rd for fmj on ammoseek today being the cheapest.I still have a few hundred rounds of 380 ball laying around and plan on stretching them out for a long time.considerably cheaper to shoot 45 or 10.

I remember when these came out in the mid-90’s. Thought it was kinda cool but I never got one. 5F98B4EF-3AF9-4E7C-AFF2-A56D6153BC0C.jpeg

    Beretta Tomcat in .380
I also was interested in one of these back in the day. But the trigger pull was unappealing along with the price tag.
