I just recently bought this Gen 3 G21 from an online gun store.
It came with the original box, 3-13 rd. mags, papers, lock, brush, rod cleaner, 2 fired casings, and a SPEER GD bullet. The night sight glow like lasers.

It’s got that old black slide look, like early gen.3.

IMHO, I think the Gen 3 is the best coated slide out of all the Generations.

Not all, but early to mid for sure. I’m thinking my first gen.3 that didn’t have first black slide was around 2012.

The officer that had that must have been a paper pusher and never unholstered that thing. It is in beautiful shape! Great find.

I might sound like a newb.............. because I am.
This is my 2nd ever Glock to have owned. And, this one is a keeper!
Please tell me all about the G21, those that have carried them as a LEO, security guard, general carry, etc. Any pics you want to add. What FMJ ammo do you use for target shooting, what ammo do you use for EDC JHP's? I will be using WWB FMJ, and Winchester Ranger T-Series 230 gr. Plus P JHP's.
Anything else that I missed that can be added to this post is greatly appreciated. :)

Yes,a very distinct difference in my 1998 Gen 3 and my 2008 Gen 3 in finish, both appearance and feel to the touch

WWB is good for target practice and cheaper . I do not carry my 21 as a carry gun I prefer my 30SF but I use ranger T and Speer gold dots mostly across sever calibers for carry and home protection both are great ammo

I believe that a staff member that is a LEO has his duty weapon as a 21 and carry a 30SF as well off duty using the same ammo I suggested.

I went online Friday night looking for some Ranger T-Series in 230 gr. or 230 gr. Plus P (my plus sign is broken on my laptop :D). A seller on gunbroker.com has plenty of 50 rd. boxes, but they are $50 plus $12.95 shipping. Eight pages into a Google search I found a private seller that had a 50 rd. box of Ranger T-Series 230 gr. Plus P for $24.99 and $5.99 shipping. I jumped on them like they were white on rice! Those babies expand to an 1.25" in diameter and that's with those nasty razor sharp talons exposed!

Being in California that does not seem like a bad price and yes it’s great ammo IMO
