LC9 - Pocket Carry?

After getting the "bug" only a month after buying my first pistol (Gen 4 G19), I am now ready to buy an everyday carry gun and really want a gun I can carry in my front pocket.

I've looked at several but want something in a 9mm with an external safety. I like the Ruger LC9 for its reliability and price ($350 @ LGS) but I'm getting about 50/50 feedback about whether I can use it as a front pocket CCW.

What does the Glock Forum crowd have to say? Am I naive in thinking a single stack 9 will work and destined to look at .380's like the LCP or BG (both with external safeties).

What say you? Thanks in advance!

I have the lc9 and love it. Great pocket gun. I have the uncle Mikes and it fits well. Since the summers closing in on us its becoming my edc and you can't go wrong with it. Incredibly accurate for how small it is to. Hope this helps!!
