Ok so with all these legit ideas I might need to buy more than one
Careful, they’re like potato chips!
I’ve always talked myself out of buying another knife as I have too many but damn things come home with me somehow every once in a while.

Next thing you know your carrying non serrated blade, fully serrated blade, & a separate knife for self defense....

Don't forget about fixed blades. I carry an RMJ Unmei and a Gerber 06 Auto daily,but sometimesthe Gerber gets switchedout for something else.Spyderco also has alot of great knives also. I just had my Spyderco Rock Lobster on me yesterday.

I really like my Ka-Bar TDI Hinderer Hellfire with G10 grips & custom sheath I use scout carry.

To the OP, with all these options we are giving you. Make sure your up on your local laws. Knife laws differ by county or even city sometimes. Example would be I cannot carry an auto in WA state, & no fixed blades in the city of Seattle, WA. FWIW.

Yea NY knife laws are screwed up like the gun laws, as far as I understand
cant have a spring assissted folding knife but can carry a 3 ft machette
