Personally, I don't think they are worth what you pay for them. There are 1911s that are cheaper, but you get a better value. This is my opinion so take it for what it is. I personally would not purchase a Kimber when buying a 1911.
I'm not interested in one. I've just heard mixed opinions about them. Mostly negative. A friend of mine just bought one. And was asking me what I thought about. And I really didn't know to much about them. I've shot one in my life but not enough to get an opinion on it. So I really don't know to much about them except that they are expensive.
