I am a 34 waist but buy 36 for IWB carry. So 2 sizes. Would try 35 but have never seen any pants with that wast size.
Yeah they don't make pants in "odd" waist sizes.

Also take a look at "tru-spec" concealment pants. They have a self adjusting waist band and pockets for extra mags.

I wear the 5.11 covert khakis... Same features.
I wear 5.11, or Black Hawk pants, and shorts, when i am not at work. I keep it to those two brands for consistency when I am off work and am concealed carrying.
I just wear my same every day shorts, they have always been a little loose and needed a belt. My iwb works great as long as I can pull the waist away from me a bit when the guns not on yet. I grabbed one of my older pair earlier and put them on by themselves and they were pretty snug, and I knew the gun would never have fit and had to change shorts
I think a lot of it depends on what gun/holster you are going to carry IWB. I found that I did have to get some pants the next size up just for a comfort factor, although all of the pants I had would have worked.

I've been carrying either a Springfield XD9SC or Glock 36 with a IWB holster for the last two years. If your current pants have even a little bit of room in the waist then you should be fine. I haven't had to go up in size to be comfortable carrying all day. Be sure and use a belt designed for carrying to help distribute the weight and keep from making your pants sag on your carry side and you will be fine. I carry in the 3:30 to 4:30 position just fine.
I buy my jeans on size big anyway, dress slacks I had to go up one size to accommodate my carry rig.
