After my ten day wait I was able to pick up my newest member to the family, my Remington 870 tactical. I've named him Sgt. Pepper, when I order the side saddle and install it that will be his Lonely Heart Club Band :). I only got bit by the firearm bug this year so I am very glad to add it to the collection. I feel better rounded now I have my 17, AR-15 and the Remington 870.

Very nice... I like it. I don't know about the breacher choke but if you run out of shells you can stab with the barrel LOL What side saddle are you picking up?

I almost didn't get the breacher but you can change them out so i went For it, you can also Screw it off. Not sure yet, this is my first shotgun any suggestions?
Nice shotgun, love the 870. I wish I had one with the same trigger design as my Winchester 12's. Don't know if that's possible, but it would be cool.

I have the Tac Star side saddle on mine. I was gonna get the Mesa Tactical one but the rubber tubing inside that grips the shell is a pain. Sometimes the shell will go in and out smooth or be a real pain to get in and out. Plus $25-$40 for the Tac Star compared to $50-$70 for Mesa's.

The side saddle I have :

Mesa's:

So the first things I bought for my 870 was the side saddle and upgraded safety.
