I'm new to USPSA and shot an interesting stage today. Draw, fire at 6 sequential IDPA (marked randomly with blackout for "miss" shots) freestyle (2handed). Holster, shoot same 6 targets strong hand. Holster, shoot same six weak hand. I'm not explaining well, but each string of six was timed separately.
I've had a lot of trouble getting used to shooting again and one of my squad mates pointed out that I shot significantly better strong hand only. Sooooooo, my support hand has been my problem, mostly, all along. Wow, the light bulb went off and I shot the rest of the stages with a lot more confidence and accuracy.
Recommend everyone practice strong hand/weak hand. You might learn something and, might save your life. Also a great tool if you're having problems with accuracy.
