Just was wandering how everyone puts on new sights if you do it yourself or have someone else do it. I have heard of ppl messing up their guns by trying to install them theirselves

I've always done it myself. I put my slide in a vise use a brass punch and knock out the old and install the new. Fronts are a 3/16" wrench, use a dab of loctite.

It is best to use a sight pusher for the rear. I have personally seen some one use a punch, and unknowingly break the tritium vile inside, deadening the sights before they were ever able to use them.

Just my opinion.
