I like my steak/chicken/pork/veggies cooked with a side of cold hop invested, fermented sugar beverages!
I got the grillage covered Keenan. But before the main event, you're gonna have to narrow that down a bit, :D.

I think someone else has volunteered to analyze the beverage consumption needs. Now let's see. Who was that?

Left out one major, and quite possibly the most important detail: How do you & the hubby like your steaks? In 52 years, one of the few things I've come to understand is, there are very few things in life more important than good grillage (charcoal of course... not the gas-grill imitation, lol)

(I'm taking notes for the future GlockForum.com get together)

I thought I covered that...'cooked.' ;) It doesn't matter to me. Med, Med-Well, Well. Just cook it enough that the parasites are dead (internal temperature at roughly 160 degrees for about 3 minutes). I am easy to please and eat everything but mushrooms and plain mayonnaise.

In southern terms..I ain't gonna turn down food and beer! I'll even contribute to the cause! :D Thanks for volunteering to cook!

Name: DJ
Age: 37 soon to be 38
Married for 15 years now, been married twice. First marriage only 1 year and the only good thing to produce was my daughter whom is about to turn 18. From my current and only real marriage I have 3 kids one more daughter 18, son 12 and my youngest son 4.
I work in the IT industry going on 18 years. I was born and raised in El Salvador Central America. I moved to US at 16 to go to university. Once graduated received offer letter from big IT company and stuck around... Lived in California from 90 - 05 then moved to Panama ( the country, not the city in Fl) lived there from 05 - 07 then moved to AZ in 07 and love it. We live in Phx.
Other than Glocks I love cars I really like classic muscle I own a 66 mustang convertible and a 68 firebird that is on its way back home from panama as I type ( on boat ). I also have a Fix It Again Tony 74 spider ( still tinkering with it), I have a 95 Buick Riviera supercharged love it, I only wished it where rear wheel drive and my 2000 dodge ram 2500 V10 as you can see gas is not my friend right now....

My wife and I enjoy to travel we mainly travel back to ES or Panama or Cruise. We drive often to California maybe once or twice a year. we like to go camping with the kids. We love the beach ( guess what no beach in Az), I used to surf. I like to go diving. We have not explored much of Arizona yet but we are always planning to get started.

I love motorcycles ( dream to build my own cruiser) love HD's but can't afford the one I would like. But some day when the kids are out of college then... Someone better hold me back.... ( wife loved to be a passenger on my past bikes from my youth, GSXR 750, Ninja 650 R) I used to dirt bike a lot as a kid had quads and cr's a couple of xr's but have not gotten any in US. Now that my boys are getting bigger I can foresee dirt Dirt bikes in our future....

I am Catholic and proud of my faith. I pray the rosary every day with my family and attend Mass every Sunday. I thank my lord Jesus constantly for the interesting life I have led, the mistakes I have made, the opportunity to find true love, for my awesome kids ( sometimes want to run for the hills) for all the highs and lows he is always with me caring an guiding.

Funny true story, before I purchased my first gun in the US ( my Glock G17G4) I told my wife I was getting it, she told me not until you discuss this with a priest. So I did during a confession I told him about my plan to buy a gun and the reasons why, he told me that my reasons where just and that our lord wants us to protect ourselves and our families. He quoted scripture as to when war is just and how someone that is attacking you or your family is committing an act of war against your person. He went on to say that if God forbid I ever have to use my gun, other weapon or fists to defend myself or my family and the result ended with a lethal blow to my perpetrator that it was not considered by the church or our lord as a sin. So with his blessing went out and found my Glock came home with it and told my wife go talk to father...

So enough for now.

DJ.

Name: Robert
Age: low side of 40
Current Spatial Refernce: Dallas

Son of a sailor and product of the american melting pot and eastern european immigrants. Spent the early part of my life bouncing around the east and western seaboards following my dad's duty station. After retirement we moved to Mobile, Al where I left for college in NM, before moving to Texas after graduation with my future wife.

Been married for just over 15 years with two kids, a boy and girl. The boy is 7 and pretty appears to be a clone of myself, while my 2 year old daughter combines my best qualities with those of my wife. Being a parent is probably my greatest joy. I however also understand why my dad went grey early in life and my wife prays constantly that my son will develop the common sense I seemed to lack when growing up.

Went to college for 9 years at NM Tech studying things of interest to me and about 100 other people and getting paid to do it. Worked for the Bureau of Mines as a student, and earned cash on the side by highgrading old mines for mineral samples and working as a technician at the local weapons testing facility. When not working or studying, the only things to do were drink, enjoy nature, and mess with powers beyond the control of man, typically with alcohol involved. Imagine animal house meets the BIg Bang Theory with a little mcGyver and A-Team involved and you will probably get the idea. It was a technical college where the students were from the top 1% of the academic pool, but probably the bottom 10% for social skills. I met lots of truelly brillant people and when they cut loose to have fun it could get very "lively". My wife is often amazed that I made it through college with all my factory equipment still attached, and alive. High points of college besides meeting my future wife where shooting a hellfire missile into a tank, getting paid to stuff enough am-pho into a Ryder truck to send the rear axle half a mile away, being in a Nuclear Reactor as it SCRAMed, and setting off a 500-yard face lifting ripple charge at an open pit mine.

After graduation moved to Dallas with the future wife because her family was there and she had a job lined up with an oil and gas service company. With my highly unmarketable skill set I secured a job in the environmental indiustry as an EPA contractor working at places most folks run away from. Kept at it and now I manage projects and act as a remediation technical expert for my clients. The wife makes the big bucks and I short of work to keep out of trouble and pay for the things that you really don't need but are nice to have. My job also is readily portable so if the O&G ever gives us the boot we can move most places and I can find a good job easiely.

We spend our vacations in NM and CO 4-wheeling in the wife's YJ and soaking up the local history. Our favorite place is Ouray in Colorado where the wife gets to test out her latest upgrades and I get to indulge in my love of mining. Next a favorite is anyplace in NM.

Biggest joy in my life is my kids. My son loves shooting and helps me reload. I recently bought him his first pistol, a Ruger SR-22, which he is getting quite proficient with. My daughter shares my passion for airplanes, even though she is only 2 she loves to spend hours with me at the local airport watching planes and I can say that not alot of 2 year old girls get excited by getting buzzed by a B-24 or B-29.

I don't think you will like my answer, Matthew. I don't eat steak. But you can grill my veggies for me on a skewer. Well done!

OK, I'll bite.

I'm a 54 year old Coloradan who never owned a gun until 2009. My first purchase was a Remington 870 M&P shotgun for home defense, although it's now collecting a bit of dust. The second gun was a Glock 19 - I first fired one at a NRA basic handgun class and fell in love with it. Now I'm buying a few more, just to get a better handle on the variety of firearms available. Want to get a good plinking rifle, just purchased a .22 handgun for my spouse that I'll have to test (ha!)

In my work life, I started off as a civil engineer many years ago and worked in the corporate world for 25 years. In 2004, I quit my job with a large IT firm and started my own company. I'm much happier now! I spend most of my time as a tech pundit for a well-known website, which is why I use a pseudonym here. I've also written a number of tech-oriented books.

Religion: grew up Catholic, turned away from the church until 2006, now a devout Lutheran.

Family: just my wife and me ... plus a cat. Need to get a dog, soon...

Other hobbies: who has time for other hobbies? ;-) Spouse and I are avid photographers and do a lot of world travel. Have been in many a situation where I wished I could carry anywhere on the planet... Dabble with amateur radio, but find that hobby to be about 30 years behind the technology I work with every day. Used to do a lot of camping, but got too old for a tent. Had a VW camper for a while, until I needed some money. Now thinking about getting a big-ass travel trailer and gas-guzzling truck to pull it.

Enough about me, let's hear more about all of you!

Hi, my name is Jason and I have a love for tan pistols! I am really looking forward to getting a new FDE Glock soon! Currently I am shooting an OD 34 in USPSA competitions. I live outside one of the most dangerous cities (Jackson, MS). Not my favorite place, but at least I am happily employed as a wildlife biologist. Married and we have lots of pets: 2 horses, bunch of cats, and a 70 lb pansy chocolate lab. I am more at home on a tract of land than stepping foot on any square foot of pavement. Went to school to work in wildlife law enforcement, but ended up getting a Master's Degree at the urge of my major advisors. I have worked in south GA then lived in TN and worked in KY before moving to MS. I spent a summer working in northern NM and thought is was an awesome place! I am a boy from the south (with above mentioned accent). My favorite TV shows are Top Shot, anything with car/truck restoration, The Big Bang Theory, and all the paranoid survial/prepper/doomsday shows. Can me paranoid, but I follow the Boy Scout motto: Be Prepared.

Oh, and I spend way too much time here! :D I like my steak/chicken/pork/veggies cooked with a side of cold hop invested, fermented sugar beverages!
Now that is beyond cool!
