Does Crook County tax what you buy online and how would they know ?

You could always head down I-57 to CU for a day, but some ammo and get a little range time in.

Actually found out , the Indiana Cabela's is closer to me than the Hoffman estates one , so a win win , picked up 500 there Saturday for $118 , not sure they can tax you for online purchases ..

Yes, you'll have to provide them a copy of your FOID so they can stay legal under IL laws.

Hey all. From Schaumburg. Got a glock 30s and a G19 gen 4. Love them.
The HE cabelas you could find some great deals on ammo. Not anymore with this 5 cent BS.

Out to Marengo I go now. Little bit of a drive but worth saving the money if you buy more than 500 rounds.

Don't be fooled the crook county ammo and violence taxes are designed to force gun owners to buy out of county/state. This is a back door gun shop ban and is designed to put the gun stores out of business.

Full disclosure, I have been buying my ammo online in bulk for years.
