Anyone going to GAT's grand-reopening this weekend? There's going to be door prizes, raffles, and manufacturer reps. Plus... AMMO!!!

Joe, do you work at GAT? Is that all the ammo they have been hiding for this weekend? I wouldn't really call it a grand re-opening since they never really closed, they are just finally opening up their rifle ranges (which they are over charging for imo).

No I don't work at GAT, did I sound like I was doing a commercial for them? I got that picture off their Facebook. As far as being overpriced, what's cheaper around the area?
I have enjoyed On Target so far, a little further away but definitely worth the trip. Also, Article 2 isn't so bad but it's only a 25yd range.

Not impressed with what? If you were looking for ammo they had pallets of it... I thought the new range was very nice too
$40 for federal bulk .22lr? $20-$30 for 50 rounds of 9mm? No thanks. As bad as things are now for ammo, you can still find deals if you are patient. They are just looking to make a quick buck to recover money in their expansions.

Their was a time when it wasn't that bad .. Time to find a new spot!
Yeah I have gone there off and on since the early 90's. They used to have the best prices on guns, but now they gouge like or worse than everybody else. Has anybody gone to the new Maxons they have a nice facility! I also go to Bristol Wisconsin, it is just across the border. The only problem is that you can only have 5 rounds in a pistol or if you are shooting a rifle or spotty you can only have 1 round in it, but they have a 200 yard range so you can really stretch your Glock out!
