I'm contemplating between different colors for duracoat.
What color would you guys make your polymer, if your into that?
I definitely dont want anything red or blue.
Post some pics before I order a diy kit.
    Thank you

Well make sure you want to do this to your gun in the first place. I know sometimes I'm tempted to do stuff just for the sake of doing it, then realize afterwards that I preferred my gun just the way it was before.

With that being said, if you're sure you want to duracoat it I personally love my OD 19 (not duracoated, factory OD). Flat dark earth would be my second choice.
This color is nice too, some Walther PPS' came that way, I think it looks great. It's a bluish grey color, but regular grey would look nice. Post some pictures of your gun if you duracoat it. (*This is not my gun, this is a random pic)

I had my frame Duracoated Coyote Brown since I live here in the desert. Had a local guy do it for me here in Las Vegas. I am planning to get my new G30 Duracoated by nukinfuts29. You should contact him. I know he's done several members guns and other things as well. I know there's some other posts you can find about his work and he frequently has member specials. Good luck on what you decide on. One color, two, themed, or multi-colors, you have a tough decision ahead of you. lol

That is who I just got my gun back from, on Friday the 13th.
Bad batch of paint and 35 days later I.scrubbed my frame with soap and hot water to get the paint off.
I have seen other members work he has done, it turned out good from pics I've seen. I don't know how they are holding up now though.
Thay being said, ANYTHING being done to your gun, stay local or DIY

I Took my fubr glock 22c that I finally got back over to a duracoat certified gunsmith . Only 40 miles from my house . He took apart a mod 22 and commenced to beating the slide on 1inch wooden table work bench on upper part of slide 5times as though it was a hammer (i bought shat myself) he handed me the slide after wiping the wood dust off and there was not a mark in the camo duracoat . He took on a project gone wrong from a certain duracoat specialist and for less than 1/2 the price no up front cash and pay only when I am satisfied and let me custom mix the color on site ... Two weeks from this lastondsy I can pick up ,but he recommended another 2weeks for full cure . And he guarantees me the paint won't melt off in the heat or the ups truck(lol)! Found him on duracoats website.

I'm glad to hear you guys finally got your Glocks back, its too bad that the cae back in such a condition, but at least it's fixable by someone who actually knows how to apply duracoat.
