Not necessarily uncomfortable, but more impractical. Think about being in a gun fight and needing to change mags. Spare mags should be on opposite side.randyr144 said:

Is this even possible? Think it would make it uncomfortable to wear? Thanks
Bingo! The gun side is definitely not a good place for spare mags. The holster wouldn't be a big deal to make, but I would consider that method of carry to be a no-go concept unless there were NO alternative.kodiak said:Not necessarily uncomfortable, but more impractical. I typically consider anything from 11-1 o'clock to be centerline, but you're right, 1 o'clock wouldn't be bad at all. I wouldn't go any further than that though. I wear my spare(s) between 10-11.mcw402 said:Magazines attached to your holster is a bad idea. That being said, magazines on your weapon side does work. I carry my spare mags at 1 o'clock, so it is on my weapon side. I have no problem retrieving mags and the exchange is smooth and consistent
