Would a glock 31/32 357 sig round be a good back up for hunting a hog with a 30 ought 6?

Welcome to the Glock Forum littletony !!

Shot placement being everything...I would still opt for something bigger, with more foot pounds,

especially when a very PO'd feral hog is charging...JMHO

Ok thank you. What about the 40 magnum glock has? Or is that still too small?

Look...you asked for my opinion...and now you're gonna crack wise ?!

If the pig is already down and you want to put it out of it's misery, a .22 will do it !

If a pig is running at me after i shoot it will the 357sig round be enough to drop it before I loose a leg? That's really what I want to know.

Welcome to the Glock Forum Littletony! As shooter said, a .357 sig would be plently to drop it, assuming you hit it!

Around here in MS, we use anything from .22 mags to 7mm mags..it just depends where you hit the hog!
