i wish this freaking humidity would just disappear with the snap of a finger.

all frickin' summer long, it's been one humid day after another, which up here, we'd be lucky to get (maybe) 3 days in a row of it...then 1 to 2 weeks dry air, then humid air for another 3 days...

must be the covid causing this

No way we are going to get used to this, but quite the odd day for around here. It will be enjoyed while it lasts.

It’s a beautiful 86° with 58% humidity, and I had the pool to myself.

Ya'all suck that up while you can. I'm getting tired of needing a knife to cut a path thru the smoke just to get to the truck. They say we'll get some relief Monday, but that's 3 days too long.

Not looking good! We dodged Laura but I think Sally is going to give us hell.
It’s a waiting game now, 4-6 ft tides are predicted with rainfall 15+ inches.

Things around here in Washington (at least in the Mount Vernon area) are starting to improve.....
a little. At least I don't need a knife to get to the truck. Smoke was so bad here that yesterday morning 3/4 of Little mountain disappeared in the smoke. I could only see the base, and I'm 300 yds from it. Still it got so bad that it's infiltrated into the house, doors and windows closed. I think it's coming down all the open vents thru the roof.
    I'm so done with this!

Looking like landfall will be around Biloxi as a cat 2, hope your brother misses the main surge. All forecasts are predicting a more easterly land fall but it hasn’t made the turn yet. Slow mover, scheduled to go ashore early Wednesday morning with 15-20 inches of rain possible. It’s been one busy season so far, there are 5 active systems in the Atlantic basin today!
