How Many Initials Do You Have?

Discussion in 'Off-Topic' started by OuttaHand, May 6, 2012.

  1. I was reading through the forums and came across a post that had several abbreviations in it. It got me thinking of all the things we are surrounded by that use their initials more than a full name.

So I wondered how many different "initials" I have, as well as how many you all might have!

    I have a CCL and a CCW.
I belong to a few different "associations" that represent themselves by initials, too:

    GSSF (Glock Sport Shooting Foundation)
    AAA (American Automobile Association)
    AMA (American Management Association)
    NHRA (National Hot Rod Association)

    How About YOU?

Well, I have a CWL from FL and a WCL from GA (though mine still reads GFL) and of course I have CCWs.

I am a member of the NRA, GCO and USCCA. I'm currently typing on a HP, the AC is running and the TV is on. I have USPS and UPS boxes in view. I'm a fan of UF, SU and USNA's football teams. I served in the USN and USNR as a HN (HM for most). I have ACP, GAP, S&W and NATO calibers. Most of my lamps & light fixtures have CFLs installed. I have a LG vacuum cleaner.

That's all I can think of for the moment.

You're going to need to identify some of those...and remember we're talking initials, not just abbreviations...
