Hi low or low high?

I need two guns. One will be my EDC and one will be the gun I take with me while hiking in the backcountry of the Rockies and Cascades. I'd like to know your thoughts on whether I should get a 43x as the EDC and a Hi-Point 10 mm as my bear gun. The other option would be to get a cheap EDC and spend my money on a Glock 20/29. The third option would be to buy the 43x now and save my pennies for the Glock 20/29. Thanks for your ideas.

Get the 43 and then save up for a proper Grizzly pistol. 10 MM will work, but is bottom of the barrel for that task. If you go that route, I suggest some very full power Underwood, or a distant second, Buffalo Trace. Buffalo Trace has had problems of being too over pressured in the past, so make sure to do your diligent research and not do it on their site, no matter the brand.
I can hear the REEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeee already from the above. 😂
Happy shopping.

I would not rely on a high point for anything, could always get the glock 29 in 10mm and kill two birds with one stone. If it were me i would probably want a 44 mag for bear, that or 300 blk out in a ar pistol configuration

G29 for edc & G20 for woods. Only if you want one caliber. Otherwise I’d say the G19 for edc.

EDC > Bear Gun

Unless you live in Alaska, a 38 Special is all the woods gun you need. When I am in the woods I have either a rifle or a shotgun.

Excellent call! I had the chance to shoot the dagger the last time I went to the range. The guy shooting next to me wanted to shoot my p365, & I shot his dagger. I loved it!!

I carried my Colt SAA .357 mag as my woods sidearm through my 20’s.

We get them transferred into my store all the time. They feel good in hand and shoot great! Especially for the price.

Do they shoot great or shoot great for the price?
Are they a go to war gun or just a cheap range toy?

Definitely not a cheap toy. I'm not a huge fan of the trigger. I'm honestly not sure why I haven't got one just to live in my jeep.

Definitely not a cheap toy. I don't like the trigger, but it's fine. I don't know why I haven't got 1 just to live in my jeep.
