yea I can match that, or get very very close. I use a dulled matte clear, I never ever ever use a glossy or shiney clear coat except for the florescent colors

edit: that is an actual duracoat color, I can absolutely match it lol

Do you have a pic of a frame that has been painted and cured? Maybe I've just missed it, but the ones I've seen look like they just came out of the paint booth and have that wet look to it.

Also what is your assessment about duracoating over RTF polymids? Before I did anything, I would like to ensure that they would remain sharp.

Thanks

The paint does not go on in heavy or thick fashion like people think, it will not negate the RTF frame at all. Here is Glockit's, painted, cleared, cured.

I don't like shine, it doesn't belong on a gun unless it is a females florescent. You won't get shiney from me, I actually modify the matte clear to my own methods to ensure it.

Great, thanks for the info and pic (you should post more of those btw). Let me think about it a little bit more...I don't want my decision to be impulsive.
I post them all in the Duracoat thread :p Let me know when you are ready!

how does the finish hold up? Will it show holster wear or scratch?
The finish is stronger than factory and will not wear from the holster. In my signature is a link for the Duracoat pricing and FAQ, it will explain Duracoat and why it holds up so well.

That looks like Foliage Green in the OP picture. That is a good look, gray with a touch of green tint.

PS I hate glossy glock frames too! ;)

I know it's on a website but I'm on a mobile iPhone. How much for something like that to be done?
Check out nukinfuts29 webpage. It is at the bottom of all of his posts in his signature line. He has a complete list...unless he comes out with a rocking awesome sale...which he has a few times already!

I know that... Again. I'm on a mobile iPhone. Which means it won't let me get to his website. It's dumb (I know)

Thanks! That's a good price. I will be in touch later this month. (June)
