I bought it new about 30 years ago.
It's a 19 X 9
I would like to update it.
Pics? Is it a model 17, or 19?
Here is a pic of different Glock generations. 30 years ago would probably be generation 2, just guessing.
Is this helpful
Gen 2 19 is my guess.
Update or upgrade
It is a 19
I am by no means an expert, but I would think a new recoil spring assembly, trigger spring, firing pin spring, slide stop spring. I am sure others will weigh in with some suggestions.
Doesn't match those
It hasn't been shot much at all. Less than 100 rounds.
I'm looking to make it my carry.
You're my favorite
Matches generation 2 exactly if it’s pic above.
Night sights, extra mags, & good carry holster. I have a gen. 2 17. Wish I had the gen.2 19. It should serve you well. Does it have the u notch mags without metal liners? If it does I’d buy newer mags for it.
NF - G-19 - May 1990 - 2nd Gen.
NL - G-19 - November 1990
NM - G-22 - July 1990 - 2nd Gen.
NP - G-22 - Unknown - 2nd Gen. - From Glock
NL is generation 2 19 made November 1990.
I think my 1993 came with non-drop free mags.
I would probably still replace those items just due to how old it is.
You can probably get all those springs for like 50 bucks.
Check out The Glock Store or Glockmeister.
Difference between Glock Gen1, Glock Gen2, Glock Gen3, Glock Gen4
"When looking at a Gen 1 or Gen 2 Glock have a mental note if that gun has been upgraded already."
Just so you are aware...
