Hello. New to the forum, just a quick intro. I am a LEO in NY. I love my right to carry and have zero issues with law abiding citizens carrying as well. But just like with a car, licensing and testing should be involved.

My current guns are ( in order of acquisition ):

1. S&W 5946
2. Glock 26 (3rd gen)
3. Glock 19 (2nd gen, recently exchanged for 4th gen)
4. Kel-Tec P3AT
5. Reck P8
6. Soon, but not yet (S&W 22a)

Glad to be here. Lots of good info here. Hope I can share as much useful info as I am receiving.

Hello, Thank you very much for the kinds words. They are appreciated.

I'm not sure how to multi-quote yet. I was trying to figure it out but will tinker with it more later.

But to answer the questions above... I will send the PM, thank you, didn't know there was a LEO section. I will post a pic of my Reck on Friday but I did include one below of web pic of it. I've never fired it though, I just have it as a collectible. I also work in Westchester. And last but not least, thank you all again.

Chief, maybe I'll run into you at the Sportsman Center. I live practically around the corner from it. I talk to lots of LEOs while shooting.

Thank you all. Very nice to be here. Haven't shot at Blue Mountain since I got hired. I should go back sometime. I usually shoot at work when they have an open day to come in off duty and shoot what you like from .40 cal and below. It would be nice to shoot outdoors though. I may just go back this summer.

Send me a PM if you plan on going some time. I'd love to meet up with you.

As promised, below is my Reck P8... with glow-on. :) Tried to take a night shot along side my trijicons but nothing comes up with my camera. Gonna play with exposure settings and try again later. But they are comparable in brightness and functionality.
