Just got a gun vault for my glock, just want to know if anybody knows anything about them. Are they good safes?
I'm currently in the process of talking my wife into letting me get one of these. She's not too big on the cutting a big hole in the wall idea. They know better than to touch them, but locks keep an honest person honest

Yep! I always have to think up an answer to the question... "why do you need that?"glockguy13 said:Yeah the wife never understands use wanting more toys and stuff like that. Lol
Yeah that's where I'm at now! Lol. I have a big safe, and a gun vault on my nightstand. She's under the impression that someone doesn't need 3 safes. Well she's wrong... This guy does! Hahaglockguy13 said:And the answer has to be perfect and you still may have to go to round 3 lol
Just tell her that not only do you want to keep everyone in household safe by having your firearm secured but you need the vault to have quick access to your handgun in case of emergency.mike_honcho87 said:Yep! I always have to think up an answer to the question... "why do you need that?"
Unfortunately that was my reasoning for buying the bedside safe. Lol. I'll figure it out. Im pretty good at wording things so she will agree with me.GAgal said:Just tell her that not only do you want to keep everyone in household safe by having your firearm secured but you need the vault to have quick access to your handgun in case of emergency.
Actually that is almost exactly what I said to get the gun vault lolGAgal said:Just tell her that not only do you want to keep everyone in household safe by having your firearm secured but you need the vault to have quick access to your handgun in case of emergency.
Haha! You gotta do what works!glockguy13 said:Actually that is almost exactly what I said to get the gun vault lol
It's really not that big of a hole, the trick is to find a place mostly out of view to get the better half convinced. Inside the master bath, behind the door to the closet or the door into the bedroom, somewhere that it's not standing out like a sore thumb.I'm currently in the process of talking my wife into letting me get one of these.
