Which one did you get? I have one with the three digit combo lock, not very advanced. I'd be a little worried if I had kids running around or something. But, get's the job done for what I need it for.

We've got two nano's in our car and a nano for travel as well. So far no issues with it.

I just put in one of these, it's mostly just to keep my kids out, but keeps a pistol closer than the main safe. They know better than to touch them, but locks keep an honest person honest ;)

I'm currently in the process of talking my wife into letting me get one of these. She's not too big on the cutting a big hole in the wall idea. Lol

Yep! I always have to think up an answer to the question... "why do you need that?"
Just tell her that not only do you want to keep everyone in household safe by having your firearm secured but you need the vault to have quick access to your handgun in case of emergency.

Unfortunately that was my reasoning for buying the bedside safe. Lol. I'll figure it out. Im pretty good at wording things so she will agree with me.

It's really not that big of a hole, the trick is to find a place mostly out of view to get the better half convinced. Inside the master bath, behind the door to the closet or the door into the bedroom, somewhere that it's not standing out like a sore thumb.

GunVault is what sits on my nite stand. Through bolted through the top of the nite stand which is bolted through the floor into the basement.

Can they get my gun? Sure, but it's going to take a lot of noise or time to do it.

My buddy did it right, though. He welded a length of angle iron down the corner of his Ft. Knox gun safe. Put it next to a support column in his basement, then welded another piece of angle to the first one. Got to knock down his house to get the safe out.
