Recently painted the engravings on my G19. Did the slide and the engravings on the mags. Debating over trying to get some color into the engraving on the barrel. What do you think?

What type of paint did you use...some people use nail polish...others crayon ( believe it or not )

Acrylic paint works pretty well. That mag I did about 4 months ago and it's my everyday carry mag. Still looks like it did the day I did it.

What do u use to get it in there without getting it all over the slide

Testors model paint, a tooth pick to insert paint, a card to scrape off the excess & and a small rag with CLP to clean and detail has always worked flawless for me. Used to color fill my AR lowers and such but have gotten away from it lately.

I use q-tips to apply paint and a moist paper towel to take off excess.

I am working on doing the lettering on my Glock and a couple of shotguns. I am using paint pens and non acetone nail polish remover. It is working great.
