Nice! I am not a GSSF member; but if I wanted to take my boys, can we just watch?

    Yes
You can spectate, Bring eyes n ears.
You can join on site if you wanted to shoot. For the small fees it's well worth it!!

According to the form, registration is at 9am. You guys that are going, if you want to hook up and squad together and shoot together, send me a PM and I'll give you my cell number. Even if you're just spectating, let's meet!

I might try to make it to watch one of the days. Any idea what time you will shoot?

Do you break up the Heavy Metal and Subcompact on different days too? Helps prevent double taps on them paper targets I hear.

    Yes.

Today I shot Major Sub and Competition. Tomorrow I think I'll shoot Heavy Metal and Competition Unlimited.

Hate to admit it but I don't think I shot that well today. Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

  12. Here's to a better day of shooting tomorrow, Oddball. As long as you had fun today, all that really matters!

Not bad considering I haven't shot a handgun in maybe 6 mos

17 gen 4 (first time shooting this one)
    Amateur civilian 104.96 sec total
    Amateur competition 125.08 total (OUCH)

30SF (haven't touched this since they were released and I purchased it)
    Heavy Metal 116.3 sec total
    Sub compact 116.21 sec total
At least this was consistent ;)

    Great times!!!

Lookin forward to the other times, pics n vids!!

Never made it out there, but hope you all had a good time.

Oddball, how did you do on Sunday?

Good scores there in my book! Even a bad day at the range is better than a good day at work, well, that is what I read somewhere. I like my job though.

Mentally, I was awesome! ....but the physical reality..didn't quite match my mental performance. :D

In an apples to apples comparison, I guess I did better on Sunday with my 34.

Saturday: Amatuer Competition I shot a 168.65. On Sunday I shot the 34 again under the Unlimited division and did 132.98. Not bad...not good by Unlimited standards but considering it's only the 2nd time I shot the gun, not bad at all.

Note to all... don't shoot against NvrenuffRR... or play poker with him.
Mr. "I don't do well shooting plates" ...his worst strings beat my best strings on the plates. :D

It was a great event, met lots of people, best of all, hooked up with a couple of our forumers and formed a team, Team Glockforum.com. Also met a couple of guys from that other Glock forum that had never heard of glockforum and hopefully will get them over here.

I'll try to get videos posted by the end of the week.

  18. Sounds like you both had a blast (to coin a phrase)! :D
After reading this, I'm really starting to get amped up for the Topton, Pa meet in a couple of weeks.

Oddball, what were your times with the 30?

Absolutely horrible. I'm embarrassed to even post them since this is my EDC and my IDPA gun.

I'll have to chalk it up to match jitters or something or maybe since it was my first outdoor GSSF match. I know 90% of it was lack of practice. I try to live fire practice at least once a week, but that didn't happen the past 2 weeks.
