I used to be a 1911 shooter for 20 + years. After shooting the Glock 21, I'm a Glock shooter now. The difference is incredible. I sold my 1911.
The Glock is easier to shoot, clean and field strip. The 1911 is not. I cannot believe how many years I put up with the PITA field stripping of a 1911. The 1911 is dirtier after shooting than the Glock.
