I almost had a Ruger SR1911, had it on order for months. I went to a gin show with my friend and he bought a Glock 22. I saw the 35, but I didn't buy. I almost bought a Springfield XDM 5.25 .45, but they didn't accept credit cards. Well then I came back the next day and I bought the 35. 3 days later Cabelas called me and said my 1911 was in!!!! Damn it couldn't afford both, so I have no 1911. I will always want one for more of history than saying it is better than anything else. Sorry for the long story
