Glock in Car (Heat)

    Discovered my glock in the console to be alot warmer than glove box storage. I like it there for its easier to get to. Is the heat bad for gun and/or ammo during days at work?

    Everything I have read says NO! Not a problem.

    Unless your car gets over 500 degrees you should be fine.

    Thanks guys. It was really hot yesterday but I grabbed it hince not over 500 degrees.

    Ammo a problem in heat ya think?

    I wonder if the heat will loosen up the glue around night sight tubes...

    If military ammo can be stored in humvees all day every day in 120+ desert degrees, I have confidence mine will be fine this summer.
