I'd like to see how well a g36 upper ( thinner than a g30 ) and a g30 lower. I'm pretty sure it would work, as I've seen this setup... I think I'd like to see how that would shoot.
I'd have to buy both guns to make this, as I've never seen a g36 slide by itself.

    A G36 BARREL LENGTH 96 mm / 3.78 in.
and overall LENGTH 172 mm / 6.77 in.

So that seems like it would work. BUT..
    The G36 WIDTH 28.5 mm / 1.13 in. and the G30 WIDTH 32.5 mm / 1.27 in.

So I do not thing things would connect correctly.

A customer @ the gun shop that I like to frequent had one. Idk whether he did anything to make it connect. I saw it & wondered about the logistics of it:
    getting a g36 slide w/o a lower = next to impossible!?
    finding a g30 lower = availability !?!
anything else to mod = ??
    ( the rails = same )

Every report I've heard is that it works.

Glockmeister sells G29/30 frames with all internal parts already installed.(both the G29 and G30 use the same frame with the same internal parts) I'd call them first to see if they actually have one in stock though, I don't know how well they keep their website updated as to what's in stock and what's not, though they say on their website that it's in stock right now. Obviously you'd have to have them transfer the frame to a dealer in your area unless you live in Arizona near one of their stores.
