Actually I don’t see myself getting the gen5 in .357 as my gen3 models are fine.

I’m waiting eagerly. I want to fulfill my dream on twin gen5 32 carry guns. Need the ambi release. Lol

About time. Glock got on the 9MM Fanboy kick. They alienated a portion of their base over it. Someone finally figured that out, I guess.

I kinda feel the same, but it is nice to see them getting off the stump with the one size fits all mentality.
I've toyed with converting my 23 to 357 Sig, but finding ammo is a bit challenging at times and I'm not set to load it. I began questioning what I would gain, after being around some in the wild. After shooting a friends, I figure I'll keep it stock. Nothing for me to gain.

    Yeah they did.
Had they come out with a Gen 5 .40 cal. when I bought my LE trade in G21, I would have bought it. But, only if it were a G22.

Admittedly I dont understand the supply chain when it comes to new weapons.
For those with experience, if the gen5, g22 is set for release in October, when can we expect it in our lgs?

When the 42 then 43 came out, I called the closest LE Distributor (GT Dist for me) and ordered one. I think it was about two weeks before the release date may have only been one. I received the 42 pretty quick after the release date and the 43 maybe a couple of weeks after release. That was probably from the 2nd or 3rd shipment GT received. I know it wasn’t the first.

I would expect the shops buying directly from Glock (LE Distributors and stocking dealers) can get the quickest, then the authorized dealers who buy from distribution (Lipseys, etc.).

I’ve found Glock to be pretty on the spot when they announce when something is going to come out.
    Sig is usually the opposite.

Correction on my post, the 43 was scheduled to release on April 10th. I found a post I made about mine dated April 14th. I guess impatience made me think it took longer than it did.

Went to my lgs last week and filled out a "request form". I should be high on the list for notification when it comes in.
Admittedly, I'm still gonna call October 1st just to remind them.
