Not trying to bash S&W but despite all their backwards engineering and such, they’ve never eclipsed the Glock in most ways.
I heard of police torture tests where they didn’t hold up.
S&W addressed underlying issues for the M2.0. Specifically to survive and compete for the military pistol trials. S&W didn’t make it to the final stages.

What .357 sig barrels are you all running in your 22’s. Oem, or aftermarket 31 barrels?
Mine is a Glock OEM G31 barrel. I remember back when I ordered it direct from Glock in Georgia they requested the serial number of my G22 before I could order it which seemed strange to me. If it was to check compatibility does that mean there are some G22’s that are not compatible with a G31 barrel? Or possibly different G31 barrels for different generations of Glock?

Yes.

Glock requires that G22 frames have a 'CNX...' or newer serial number.
