Hey everyone! I recently purchased my first Glock(s) - A Glock 36 and a Glock 19 gen 4.. I purchased an aftermarket barrel for both guns. For the G19 I got an agency arms (which fit perfectly) and for the G36 I bought a factory style barrel in SS. The new barrel for the Glock 36 is causing the slide to sit further back then it should (IMO) & doesn’t line up correctly as pictured - I took the gun to a local gun smith and he said it’s fine.. But it just looks off to me. The rear of the slide/backplate hang farther back then it did with the factory OEM Barrel. Any help or input on if this is normal or not, would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

Welcome aboard.
It not returning completely forward would make me think it’s not going battery. Technically that would prevent it from firing.
Is that as far as the slide goes when you release it after pulling the slide fully rearward and letting the spring do its job?
I’d contact the retailer and return it if that’s the case.
I wouldn’t of changed barrels on a new gun but that’s your call there.
