Can I swap an OEM Glock 32 .357 Sig barrel into an OEM Glock 23 .40S&W Slide and Frame and safely shoot it or would an after market barrel be required?

Is it normal for the Glock 23 clip to hold 14rds of .357 sig?

The back of the case is exactly the same as the 40. Its just necked down to 357. Should be same cap. I would not load over mag cap or it may damage spring.

Yes for some reason an extra 357 round will fit in the Glock 23 mags.

Cool. I like supporting local businesses though especially when the price is a about the same.

The C barrel would be interesting.

True, but getting matching ports cut isn't a big deal. I have a smith down the road who can do it.

  18. Yep, I've got a G32 barrel in my G23 right now. I shoot both, using my .40 mags.

But is that extra tension bad on the mag springs because I noticed it was slightly budging at the bottom of the mag?

  20. Glock advertises identical capacities for .40/.357. I've borrowed a friends 32 barrel for my 23 but don't really care to pay WAY TOO MUCH for ammo. I shoot IDPA every week with .40 that I load to full pwr myself so I carry .40 factory defensive. Don't want to have to shoot under stress with something I'm not completely used to. It's not that I don't like .357sig I shoot a lot, and that difference in cost could equate to a new Glock every 4-6 months or so.
