I like to carry the 36 due to thickness and the lesser round count doesn't bother me one bit, because most situation will be solved with fewer than 6 rounds being fired IMO. 36 is more of a handful to shoot, but it's not bad with some practice.

Exactly. There's only six rounds, but it's six rounds of .45acp. If you can't get it done with that, you're in over your head.
