I am sure this question has been asked a million times but can I use Gen4 magazines in a Gen2 Glock? Up until now I have only had Gen3's, 4's, & 5's and I know those mags are cross compatible but today I bought my first Gen 2 which was a police trade-in 22 that only came with 1 mag. I no longer have any Gen4 .40 mags so figured i'd ask before I dropped a bunch of money on new Gen4 mags.

I run gen.3 and 4 mags in my 17 gen.2, for what it’s worth.
