Hello, this is my second glock I had received this one as a gift it's pretty much brand new how ever I noticed one little tiny flaw it's not even a big deal but I was wondering if anyone had a possible fix for it. It's like a little scratch of some sort.

Amazon.com : Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Marker, Medium Point, Black Ink, Pack of 3 : Office Products

I also use the white one to highlight the top edge of front and rear sights on my Glock 44 which has standard glock sights. Makes it much easier to get top edges lined up.

Some guys might try to sand it out but you’ll probably trigger OCD.
I’d leave it.

Thanks, I don't see it getting any worse so I don't think I'll mess with it.

It’s gives the gun character. On a Glock anyway. My 1911’s id be bothered by it maybe. I think almost all my carry Glocks have scratches in them. The markers recommend above work well.

Glocks are just hammers, not artwork. So what's the difference between a Glock and a hammer? The hammer has a better grip...This is my first G19 in the custom hammered finish.

There’s a few good reasons.
Some nefarious individuals have reported SN’s as stolen.
There are anti-gun sites that catalog SN’s they catch on the net.
Plus it’s not a bad idea to keep as much stuff as possible private.
A number of years ago a newspaper identified everyone with a CHL along with their address and guns. IIRC it was New York.

Thanks for the explanations. Few days ago I uploaded a couple videos of my guns to YouTube. Deleted both the next day on the slim chance they could somehow be used against me for whatever reason. Could easily see the serial numbers too.

The outboard gave up in gale force winds, we were riding the swells, the wind shifted, it was terribly tragic.

I would not be surprised if someone scours the gun forums trying to create a database of firearms!
