Glock 17 Gen 4
Ok Glock fans. I'm new to this Forum so bare wit me....I just bought my first handgun at age 21 and I decides to go Glock 17 gen 4. I've shot a gen 3 and it felt great. The gen 4 was the same price with my law enforcement discount so I chose that, y not lol! But if anyone can give me honest opinions and any websites I can get sum cool Glock accessories from that'll b cool!

Now, how does she shoot...how's the trigger ? Does she hit you with brass or toss it
in a neat pile to the side ? Are you happy with the function of the weapon...?

I've ordered from MidwayUSA.com, LoneWolfDist.com, and glockparts.com many times each and I've been satisfied with every experience.
I don't own any Gen4's, but if I did the only grip plug I'd use would be the Glockmeister Gen4 grip plug. It's the only one that works like the old Gen3 grip plugs. It doesn't allow you to use the add-on backstraps though.

I found the trigger on mine a bit stiff. I took it over to the Glock smith and he adjusted the trigger and polished up the part, including the slide release.
I picked mine up last week also..probably one of the more under-rated G's around..or is it?
My first one was a 17. (had to get one just like my sister's, but that's another story
) It has become my home defense gun. I've since picked up a 26 and a 19 for my EDC. I actually have had great success getting accessories off of Amazon.

As far as where to get upgrades....there is TheGlockStore.com & Glockmeister.com, Brownells and Midway carry parts as well but the first two are Glock only stores. I pick up deals on Ebay as well.
The two things I do to all my Glocks is the sights and trigger, you got the sights taken care of. Some late Gen3 & Gen4 9mm Glocks have the "Brass to face" issue but it seems to be a hit or miss thing. Good luck with your G17 but you have to know they are like potato chips because you can't stop at one.

I have a small herd of Glocks. Have owned every Generation since Gen 1. My early Gen 4 17 is at the top of the list for most accurate Glock. Had a set of Heine sights installed and a - connector.
Would buy another one in the morning and hide it in my Christmas stocking.

It was my first and it started a trend I got the 19 next and it is my favorite by far then got a 26 and 43 on the same day. It for me is the best shooter but since it was my first I have shot it more. Welcome to the family
