Glock 17 gen 1 frame wear ???

    It looks like there was a very slight interference fit between the slide and the frame which caused some 'damage' to the plastic.

    At this point, my guess is that the slide has 'fixed it' and the result simply looks ugly.

    If it were my pistol, I'd carefully trim the 'damaged' spots with a razor knife, then 'let it be'.

    That’s not a Glock frame. I’m not sure what it is but it doesn’t look like it was cut correctly and the slide banged it up.

    Rbeers is probably right that the wear has been done and just cleaning it up may should be enough. If it was purchased as a complete frame, I would probably push back on the mfg about it.

    That Glock looks brand new, this is wear (just over 100,000 rounds, today it is at 300,000). Check your gun again after at least 20,000 rounds.
