Want to purchase a glock and of course there are so many options. I like the 9mm so I'm thinking glock 17 or 19 4thgen but I hear the 19 has problems with the case ejecting. Any real truth to that?
"Yes they are completely worked out. Look for test fire date after 11/11 and make sure the ejector has 30274 stamped on it. I have several Gen3's and two Gen4 19's. I'm many thousand rounds into my Gen4's with no issue. BUY IT! There was a small issue but the net blew it way out of proportion."
I have a Gen4 G19 and that I use for personal carry and work with sometimes; its a workhorse sidearm. I purchased in Feb2011 and I don't have the 'upgraded' RSA. Also my test fire date 02/02/11, however I've only problems one time but that was due to using crappy Tula ammo. Other than that instance its performed as it should.
i've had problems with mine ejecting brass irratically and to my face. changed out the ejector and haven't had any problems at all. it's a simple and cheap fix.
What year did you buy the glock? Curious cause after awhile supposedly they fixed the problems SUPPOSEDLY! I just got my second glock which is the 19 I do idpa with my 17c but I had no problems with the 19 yet 100 rounds so far as if today no problems
