I guess you are going to have to be more specific.

What do you mean by 'stock'? factory length, factory finish, factory spec, just hexagonal, something else?

Stainless is not a finish its a type of steel, both Glock factory and Lone Wolf aftermarket barrels are stainless.

If you are just wanting a shiny barrel, you can get your factory barrel polished, theres venders on here that do it pretty dang cheap.

Forgive my ignorance.....
I have a g23 with a stainless colored slide and barrel, nib-x coated (says nickel boron formula)
It is brand new-not modified just, i assumed, straight from glock....
I understand that there are some production runs specific to a contract for example Od colored, correct?
What would the background for this pistol? Was it an overrun also? Or just a special one done for a distributer?
I wanted to get a glock barrel to match in .357 sig (hey this is my bling gun :) )
I carry a g39 since my wife took my g38, you know, gotta make momma happy :)
Thats ok i drive semis and the g39 is more comfortable to drive with.....
Called glockkstore and they said that they could take a black oxide barrel and dip and polish it for $80....wondered if i could just get one already done vs having black one changed? options?
What is used to remove the black oxide?
What is nib-x? Coating over tinifer or instead of tinifer?
I am a apprentice bladesmith, so i have the equipment to polish the barrel, but the black oxide?
Didnt want an after market barrel but a glock one, to match the slide.....
ideas?
Thanks
Edward

Thanks shooter13

There are many posts about polishing a barrel and you can find video on YouTube. But I did mine by soaking in vinegar for about 8 hours. Then sand and polished like you would your knives.
