So i got my new ss guide rod today for my g30. Now i had an ss guide rod before for my g23 n g27 but on the g30 it seems to stick out and on the g23 n 27 it didnt.

Is this normal for the g30?

Actually, I believe that's normal..erm, normal with a stock RSA. My 30SF stock rod does the same.

So should i be concerned? I rack my slide back and forth and its fine.

Got the same in my G36. No problem. Might be a good indicator down the road your spring is getting weak if it goes flush.

  5. I don't remember my original stock RSA doing that, but when it broke, my replacement G30 stock RSA does.

Well, I got it from GlockStore in a small plastic box branded by them, so perhaps it's not Glock, but some third party RSA.

    But it shoots just fine!
