From everything I’ve read in past post, on the G27 Gen 3, I can just swap the barrel from 40 to 357 without changing other parts. Am I correct? Also, since I’ve never shot a 357, is the recoil much different between the two?

Yes, you can even use 40S&W mags. Recoil is much snappier that a 40S&W, and a hell of lot loader. You can throw a 125 gr at over 1,550 fps. You know when you are shooting it.

I prefer & am more accurate with .357 Sig over .40 S&W. My edc pistol is a Glock 27.4 with a g33 barrel. Before that I carried the same setup in a 27.3. I switched about a year ago to the Alpha Wolf G33 barrel for my 27.4. It hasn’t failed me to date.

It the same for me when I use the G31 barrel in my G22.4. More snap in the recoil and I’m more accurate compared to the .40. I always have to aim a little higher too.

That would be correct because the .357SIG is much faster than a 40S&W, which means flatter, so your POA has to be higher.

I did this after Glock replaced the lower plastic base on my G27
Barrel EZ enough
Magazines had to be replaced with 357 which do not offer the loooong one for 40s

I did read others only had to replace followers, etc.
I am not lucky with Glocks, better with SA

I’ve never have swapped mag followers. I use both .40 & .357 sig magazines for .357 sig. never had a an issue. Fwiw.
