G24 - most versatile ?!

I've been thinking that my next glock purchase should be a G24. (
not for concealed carry, as it's a longslide
). Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can drop a .357 sig & a .9mm 6" barrel into it w/o changing the recoil spring !?
IDK if that can be done w/ gen4 as well as prev generations or now ... anyone done this & have any thoughts. Then I could use my g19 mags for the .9mm barrel & would only need .357 sig mags & I'd have many calibers in 1 gun.

Yes gen 4's can use the conversion barrels as well.

Ty, for the heads up :)
I still ponder this:
Would each barrel need a defferent recoil spring, or would I be able to use the .40 one for all calibers??
It would appear they all use the same guide rod/ recoil spring

To the best of my knowledge there is not a Gen4 G24, not yet anyway, but the 17, 22, and 31 use the same spring in gen4

I'd love to get a dark earth gen4 g24 ( it may not exist YET ... but I can hope & wait ):D
