i went a got one saturday evening. i love it. i got a gen3 instead of gen4. i have heard some hangups on the gen4. anyways the recoil spring on the gen4 are double, bigger than the others. they say it has less felt recoil, but not enough to really jump in and brag. but i loved the grips on my rtf2. like Velcro for your hands lol.

The Gen4 issues were worked out Luke two years ago. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with a Gen3, but don't let the OLD hype let you pass on other Gen4s. I own a Gen3 and two Gen4s. All amazing guns.

I am really thinking of buying a 23 for ccw when I am in Florida (my home away from home).

How do you guys like it for carry?

My buddy bought 1000 rds of quality FMJ reloads, from GA Arms for $270 with 2 of the thinner (possibly 5.56) ammo cans. Not the traditional .50 cal size. The more narrow ones. My other buddy bought 500 rds, (same ammo can) from the same guy down in Tampa not a month ago.

I can buy Federal American Eagle FMJ through the department for $11 per box and Federal Hydrashok (165gr I believe) for $15.

Yeahhhhh!!!

It's the same size as the 19, so it is great for CC on almost everyone unless you are extremely small.
Thanks never having CC I have heard its great, being in California I can't here but I spend a lot of time in Florida(where Iam originally from) so my next glock will be for CC.

Thanks for the reply! :)

I was on the boat for a G23 until I got my 30. I'll still get a 23 for my next pistol purchase though. Love the balance of size, power, and shoot-ability. Nice to have 2 of those. Do you ever have the chance to practice dual wielding those guys? If you are somewhat ambidextrous and your dominate eye isn't too dominate, it can be a lot of fun.
