Technically the .380’s were only available to Law Enforcement but I’ve never seen one here in the USA.
I read that a number of Mexican agencies use(d) them.
I’ve read that it’s not just a barrel swap, there’s a number of .380 only parts.

Well 2 of my "Full Size " builds are Tac Sol 22LR rigs so I'm not hesitant to embrace anemic Calibers

But unless you reload the 380 ACP like I did. If you buy factory ammunition to shoot. 380 ACP costs twice as much as 9mm and about the same as 40 S&W. As a reloader the 380 ACP is the same cost to the 9mm. For accuracy in the 380 ACP you have to load JHP as FMJ, plated RN and LRN have poor accuracy depending on your accuracy standards.
