What difference does a small dot on the front sight make versus a large dot?

I prefer a larger dot because they are easier to find when shooting competition. I think it's personal preference. One of these days I may get tritium sights but for now the big white one works.

If the bigger front sight covers more of the target doesn't that make longer distance shots harder to see and hit?

I actually put glow in the dark neon green on my front site. It's just a dot of craft paint on the original site. Applied with a toothpick. Works for me.

Does anyone here tried the TAS sights? how is it ?

The TAS sight is a great sight but you need to get used to it.. Once you see the center dot in your vision you are lined up.. They are good to a low light , will not work as a night sight it wasnt designed for that.
