Well, I had to make good for what i did. I sold the Gen 4 and bought the old stand by gen 3.

Please enlighten me on why a Gen 3 is any better than a Gen 4.

Welcome to the forum. I'm a little confused. Sounds like selling the Gen4 was some kind of penance. Don't get me wrong, I love my Gen3 19s. Just wondering why you felt you had something to make up for...

hi everyone, i guess i should explain myself about the statement on glock 3 verses the gen 4. I apologise fot the miss conception, i am sure if glock made it then its well made. I just am the type of guy that likes things plain and simple having to change back straps, the change glock made on the gen 4 with the guide rods and springs, then having problems they had to correct. The gun has been made flawless for a billion years without any problems. Why fix if it is not broke. I enjoy peace of mind, and with the gen 3 i have justthat. Sorry if i upset anyone. when they first came out withh the g 4's ther were several recalls on them. The glocks never have problems, like if it ain't broke don't fix it. If you learn correctly how to shoot a glock a gen 4 isn't nesessary spending xtra $$ ( just my opponion)

Welcome to the Forum! I was curious too. I bought a Gen 4 G19 back in February. I previously had a Gen 3, and I prefer the 4 personally. 0 problems other than finding a left handed IWB holster I like. 1,000 plus fed through, not one malfunction. But we all like what we like. Glad you stayed with Glock & are happy again!

thank you, for the comment, either way they are a family of fine operational guns, and like everything else with any changes made a glitches are to be expected and they catch up and they get fixed and eventually become part of the fine group of the rest.
