New to this Glock Forum, I'm a prior service Marine, and a 27 year LEO. My wife is a retired California Fish and Game Warden. We have two children. We retired and moved from Kailfornia. After 7 months I was bored to tears, so I went to work for my local Sheriff's office. We are NRA Life Members, NRA and POST firearm instructors. I also teach the state Handgun Carry Safety Class. My wife carried a Glock 22 and 27 on the job, and owns both. I went to the academy with a S&W 686, transitioned to a Colt 1911 a short time later. I carried a G21 for about a year in the early 90's. I went back to my Colt 1911 which has served me well. I do carry a G36 off duty and as a BUG. Hope to learn a bunch here. All the best.
