Sadly, not much can be done about holster wear. Just part of the territory of carrying. It does help a little if you view the scuff marks as a badge of honor and character for your firearm. You could try carry holsters with a softer lining which will help a lot with scuff marks, but they tend to not retain the firearm nearly as well as leather or kydex holsters, a critically important feature of any carry holster.
thats cool..i did a little research and found out that its not a problem since it wont corrode. part of it is my holster...its wore out. i need to get another one soon since i carry everyday. cant wait til november (first day of open carry) so i dont have to be so conscious about printing. i doubt i open carry much but dont want to get in any trouble when noticed by granny ;~)
